What's a good balance of Social Networking Sites ? Which one's are the best ?

I have a youtube channel and I have 500 subscribers. I opened up a Twitter account and Facebook account to link them too for further discussions on anything. I also added Google+.

Is there any other social media I should be linking ? Windows Messenger ? Skype ?

Forget Windows Messenger and Skype. They aren't social networking sites.

Linkedin is good for business sometimes.

If you are using social media and web 2.0 websites to drive traffic to your own website, then I would suggest incorporating: Digg, Stumbledupon, linkedin, ning, tagged, orkut, hi5, meetup, badoo, bebo..just to name a few.
