How has the media affected your views on love and how you behave in your relationships?
For my final Studies of Society assignment I'm doing a social experiment, and need as many answers as possible.. How has watching relationships grow in movies and books affect your expectations within your own relationships and how you treat your partner?

It hasn't. I have some non-traditional ideas regarding relationships to say the least.

Movies generally haven't changed my views of how a relationship should go if anything there are some romantic comedy movies that I've seen that makes me long for that kind of relationship

As sappy as it sounds, I want a relationship like Noah and Allie have in the notebook. Not the part of breaking up and there being another person, but the endless love they still share for each other in the end of the movie. Media hasn't really changed how I act towards my girlfriend, but it has given me hopes and desires in my relationship. Not many, if any, relationship is how movies play them out to be. Bu it's nice to think about them.
As for expectations, I dont expect much out of the other person, just out of myself. I try to make my girlfriend feel like she is living in a fairytale and she really is a princess.
Hope that helped some how. Smile

The media makes me realize that I can have love that transcends time and space, bringing me and my partner together in a wonderfully ebullient atmosphere where we can live out our wildest dreams and achieve amazing wealth and success all while helping those in need....*exhale*
