When going on facebook from my laptop the site is running very slow. Is this a virus?

My computer and all other sites are fine, its just facebook thats slow, any suggestions?

It may be malware, it's unlikely that it's a virus or there would be many more effects.
It could also be malware/spyware which is a form of software on your computer which constantly contacts internet sites and downloads advertisements ETC.

Try downloading CCleaner it will clean thoe whole of your Computer from Temporary Internet files/ cookies/ damaged Browser scripts. (It's free!)

Then download MalwareBytes, it's a free program, use google to search for it, and it will remove any malware on your system which will slow the internet browsing down, your PC will be safer and you won't get problems.

If none of the above work try a different possibly faster browser... Choices are below!

Updated Version of Internet Explorer (IE8)
Google Chrome - Very Fast for Broadband Users.
Opera - Similar to Chrome - Has a Boost Mode!
Firefox - Similar to Internet Explorer but with more Protection.
Safari (Windows) - Apples Browser - Fast and Very Safe.
