Are there any apps or techniques that will help me not check facebook and email from my smart phone?

I would like to have both Facebook and email on my phone for emergency checking - in case I need an address, or some info stored in either of them, but don't want to keep giving into temptation to check them when I'm bored, waiting, etc...

Make them hard to get to like moving the apps to last page on your phone or something. You might be less likely to check them if you have to scroll forever.
