how to draw on a photo?
Ok, so for my next facebook profile picture, i have a photo of myself which i would like to use. I am looking down and standing in front of a plain white wall. I really like medallion/indian inspired little additions. I am really inspired by the free people website:
http://www.freepeople.com on the homepage, they have lots of little doodles around the models as well as around the title logo in the top left corner. I would like to add some stuff like this to my photo. Are there any apps/websites that could help me? Right now I am just using iPhoto to change things like contrast/saturation, but I own an ipad/iphone and my dad is expirienced in aperture and photoshop if that will be of any help. Thanks! Ads |

I would suggest this method in Photoshop -
- Open the photo of you. Select only yourself and create a new layer with it. - Find the doodles that you like somewhere online, or draw them yourself. (Insert obligatory "watch out for copyrighted material" here.) - Open the doodle(s) in Photoshop. From here, your dad should know how to insert them into the original image. Having you as a separate layer and keeping that layer on top is an easy way to place the doodles behind you. Play with the opacity of the doodles as well. I would also just select the doodle and use the white wall in the original photo as the background. Hopefully this is all the detail your dad will need. Happy Photochopping! Ads |
