Why do people who hate America use this site?

When you use yahoo answers, you're contributing to the very thing you hate. You're making a multi-billion dollar entity more viable. All those ads make revenue, which is taxed. The wages they pay their employees is taxed. The stuff their employees buy is taxed.

All that tax goes to pay for things like the U.S. government, military, and diplomatic services. For example, if you're Pakistani and using any ad-based service by a U.S. corporation (google, yahoo, Facebook, etc) you're literally paying for the drones that are bombing your country. Even if you use an ad blocker, your presence on this site still contributes to the metrics that makes these sites more attractive to advertisers. How do you hate America and feel no dissonance for using it's products?

Because deep down these people know that America in fact isn't the root of all of the horrible, twisted, and defiled evil in the world.

It isn't a site that all of the Americans own, so it is business as usual.
