Why would a guy do this?

This guy invited me to like their facebook page, he just asked me because the only mutual liker was himself? We have mutual friends, but no one else liked the page....thoughts?
...It's not a new page, it has been out for a while & it already has a lot of likes

we never talk, but he likes a lot of my stuff on facebook & other apps.

He may just be trying to get more people to like his page and it just happens that no other mutual friends liked it.We don't know how many others he may have invited to like it.He may just think he might have a lot in common with you since he likes a lot of your things on FB and is assuming you may be likely to respond.It's also possible that he likes you and is trying to get your attention.
