How to completely uninstall a program from HP windows 8?
My sister downloaded one of the Sims 2 PC games onto my HP windows 8, she doesn't play the game anymore so I would like to delete it to add some more memory back. I remember how to delete a program from Dell desktop, but I have no clue how to do it on this HP windows 8. Obviously the game will not be fully deleted by dragging it to the recycle bin, then deleting it from there. From the Dell desktop you would have to go to Start>Accessories>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs. But how do you do this process with the HP windows 8, step by step please.

Thank you, hope you have a wonderful weekend! Smile

Hold down Windows key on the keyboard and then press R, this open the small Run window. In the empty space type: appwiz.cpl and click OK. This Run command would directly take you to Add or Remove Programs section in the Control Panel. There you can uninstall the game.

For more Run commands see this page:

Good luck!

Shanyy Boo,

Steps to uninstall games
1. Open the Charms bar by moving your mouse pointer over the right corner of your screen. Alternatively you may press Windows key + C on Start screen to open Charms bar. Then select Search
2. Next, type ‘Control Panel’ into the search box and click the search button. Then click on the Control Panel icon on the left side of the pane.
3. Next, click on the green link Programs (or directly on the link Uninstall a program below that)

Thank You,
