Which service should I use to make my own website?
I want to make my own website i.e. have my own domain. Which service should I use?
- tiptopwebsite.com - webs.com - weebly.com I've read good things about all three so I'm not sure which one to use. I like the first two but I'd appreciate some advice from people who've used any of these three (or something else that's better). Thank you. Ads |

Of those 3 Weebly is your best bet. Unless you plan to build a social network, in which case go with webs.com.
Benefits of Weebly : Ad Free - You get an ad free site (except for a tiny tagline at the bottom saying (free site from weebly). Easy and intuitive - The layout system is easy and intuitive TIME endorsed - Weebly was named one of TIME’s 50 Best Websites of the year in 2007 (if that means anything to you ) Very customizable - While webs.com has more templates, Weebly is more flexible and allows you to get fancier you can even create your own custom theme and import it directly into weebly. (warning! tiny, but relevant, ad follows) To top it off, there's a third party service that will do convert any theme to a Weebly theme - http://wetheme.weebly.com So to summarize: Webs.com for social networks Weebly.com for most other basic websites |
