Why. because Bush/Cheney ran two separate billion dollar wars that they never raised
taxes to pay for, you ignoramus.

They left the nation in many trillions of dollars of debt, and Obama the job of having to
undo eight years of their mistakes!

Are you enjoying your year in Grade Five? Just David (above) is a classmate, is he?

All inconsistency and hypocrisy is to be ignored or explained away when a progressive spendthrift is blowing the treasury into oblivion.

The last presidential election was a referendum on fiscal responsibility. Sanity lost.

EDIT: People like "smkeller", who aren't fit to change old people's diapers in a nursing home... got their way... and boy are they gloating about.

Not even close. The reality is we pay for poverty annually, meaning it is in every budget. Bush wars will take generations to pay for, then include the interest.

Both Bush and Obama spent money on entitlement programs. Its not just Obama's. If they didn't the country would be in a disastrous situation due to destitution, and extreme hunger. By the way, Obama is usually called the "food stamp president" but the food stamp program exploded under Bush.

Obama has continued Bush's foreign policy and has actually expanded things like the drone program so that's not all Bush.

Also, social security shouldn't be considered an entitlement program. Its a program where you pay money into it early in life, and get that money back later on. Its by no means an entitlement program.

The reasons for the current economic crisis (low wages, unemployment, etc.) are numerous and can not be blamed on one party. (both work for wall street though)

Obama created Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid? Those are his programs?

Damn, I had no idea.

This is a typical question from someone that has absolutely no idea what they are talking about.
The last major legislative increase in entitlement spending was Bush's unfunded drug plan.
There has been 0 legislation to increase entitlements during Obama's Presidency.

The increase in entitlement spending is a product of the aging population and increases in the cost of medical care. Neither of which Obama has any control over.
