I really like this girl, but does she feel the same?

Im 16 years old and i really like this girl named alex. Ive liked girls in the past but ive never felt this way about anyone else before. I met her in chem class this year. We sat next to eachother. Bout 2 months ago she got dumbed by her boyfriend of 6 months. I started getting closer to her, texting her more. I asked her on a date but she said she wasnt ready for a realationship. I understood. We keep texting and talking. But she gives me mixed signals like one day shell flirt alot but somedays shell just respond k, lol, haha. Weve hung out a few times, but most times i ask her she cant. She never asks me to hang i always ask her. I dont know what to think. She said she sorta likes me but isnt ready for a relationship. But posts on facebook- if i was with you i would put up with anything. Assuming its about anouther guy. I dont know whst to think. Should i keep trying? Give her space? Does she like me? Ot is she trying not to hurt me? Im lost and really need some advice!
