Is this a weird thing to post on Facebook?

I have a cousin who has a daughter that turned 13 last month, and she (the mother) posted a picture on Facebook of her daughter holding up a $100 bill that she got for her birthday with a caption that just said "Money.........yeah"
I found it a little off to show off the cash your child got for their birthday on FB...or is there nothing wrong with this?

I agree with you...that's almost asking for robbery and it really isn't something to be proud of. There are other people who would like that money, like homeless people. I personally think that the picture is rude.

I guess I don't think its that bad. If the kid is 13 they might not have ever had a $100 bill before. So maybe it is a novel thing for her. But then, I don't really care what anyone puts on Facebook. its just facebook.
