Help me with this problem!!!?

I have this iPod touch. I just bought it 4 weeks ago. Ok, when I go on facebook, and I scroll down the newsfeed, it freezes and goes back to the home screen. Can someone please tell me why this is happening?? I have iOS 6.2, 16gb iPod touch 4th generation.. Is something wrong with it? Is it broken? Please help me!

I think you should try turning off your itouch by holding on the on/off button until the screen turns dark, and there is a red slide button to turn it off. Leave it alone for about 5 minutes then turn it on again by holding on the on/off button until you see the apple icon. OR if you are using facebook on safari, stop using it. You should download the app from the App Store, don't worry, it's free. And if you already do have the app, just delete it, & download it again!

Double click the home button and you will get a list of running apps. hold one icon until it jiggles and a red minus comes on top of it then press the red minus on all of the icons until there is no more.Then hold the sleep/wake button until the slide to off thing comes then off it then wait a few seconds and press the sleep/wake button again.
