What are your thoughts on Facebook's censorship and deleting accounts for political postings?
Bonus question: If this the first question that's been asked on this site in a while that the left and right wing will actually agree on?

Facebook is for making new as well as nurturing existing friends. If you want to make enemies then go to Yahoo political answers.

Again, this is false. This ghandi quote is all over Facebook......as are copies of all of these claims that it's been banned from facebook. It hasn't been. You can go on Facebook and do a search for the quote and find a ton of people who have it posted to their status right now.

I wouldn't go on facebook if my life depended on it. My cousin had the nerve to tell me she had my picture in her page. I told her if she didn't remove it , I was going to sue her.And in answer to your question. I don't care what facebook does, Liberal or conservative.

Its a private company they can do what they want. But it does show whats going on is the US. there is more and more censorship. Freedom of speech doesn't really make sense to me anyway. You are free to say what you want if you want to be protected to say what you want then someone needs to protect you. there is no natural law that will protect you. so the government can protect you if the person who is trying to shut you up is a company or a church. but the government cant protect you from itself. that's ridicules. And since the point of free speech is freedom to speak against the government it means its a meaningless idea. Like George Carlin explains you have no rights you have privileges and they can be taken away from you. that's the truth.
