Does my computer have a virus or is it just advertisement?
Okay,I am usually on Facebook or youtube and all of a sudden my window changes and says I have alot of these virus on my computer and c and d drive.But then when I run McAfee and scan my whole computer it doesnt find anything.Do I really have a virus or is it just advertisement trying to con me into buying their product?

No, you had some scareware. Probably all it did was put up that scary warning. As long as you didn't go to their website or let them do anything to "help" you, you should be OK.
You also did the right thing by running a McAfee scan. Hope that helps. Ads |

Probably not a virus, but you are most likely infected with a malware infection. I would recommend downloading and installing malware bytes' anti-malware. Great program that is 100% free and will pick up TONS of things standard Anti-Virus programs like McAfee will miss. Run a quick scan and remove anything it finds. Download link in sources.

Your computer has a ROGUE antivirus software. Rogue antivirus software generate pop-ups to swindle you into paying $50 so criminals can access your credit card info. I suggest downloading Malwarebytes to remove the rogue.
In addition, I would use Trend Micro over McAfee, because McAffe sucks. |
