Can the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 have Background running apps?
Example: having facebook messenger open, then going back to home screen without actually closing the application.
locking the phone then when a user sends a message to you. Would it show notifications or make noises/vibrate alerts to let you know that you got a message from someone on facebook? Like how the iphone works with notifications/popups? Ads |

Yeh. Samsung came up with multi-tasking long before apple. Pretty much all smartphones can multi-task (which is what you are referring to). Even blackberry's can do it. Just hold the home button and it brings up all of your running applications (excluding background processes that other applications do, if you want to see these download advanced task killer).
