Girlfriend vs. future wife?
So back about 5 years ago I was with this girl back in Jr. college. She went off to further her education and I moved to a different state to work. We were keeping in touch over the few months I was gone, and in that time I changed my phone number. I remember specifically telling her to delete my old phone number and save my new one I just got. A week went by and I ended up breaking my new phone which didn't have very good service anyway. I then decided to change back to my old phone number figuring that they would be able to have a file of all the numbers that I had on my phone records, which turned out to be false. So with that said, I lost my girlfriends number and had no way of getting a hold of her. I tried for weeks, months, even years, trying to find a way to find her number. Yes, I did have her email but before I broke my phone she told me that she changed her email from the one I had on file and that I should write it down. I figured I would do that later but that bit me in the butt. I was unable to find it so I figured I just had to move on.

Now even five years down the road I could never forget about her. I do have a girlfriend that I have been with for over 2 years, but I always think about my old girlfriend that I lost over changing my phone number. I tried one more time to get a hold of her recently by doing the search website, thinking it was a scam by just taking my money. I tried it for a day and then found a few websites that my old girlfriend might have used. I emailed them and just today got an email back from my old girlfriend. I was so excited, my heart leapt. I didn’t really know what to think because of all these years looking for her I finally did. I told her my number and she called me last night and told me that she really wants to talk to me.

The question is, after being with another girl for 2 years plus would it be bad leaving her for a girl I have been trying to get a hold of for 5 years, cause now that I finally have I feel that I myself am too late to make any changes even though I knew she was the one back 5 years ago. Also the reason I ask is because I am one that never wants to hurt anyone, even if they are mean to me.

PS she was hard to get a hold of because she didn't do any facebook or other social media sites.

Did She neglect to mention that during that absence she was doing four-to-ten years at the women's state correctional facility for bank fraud, & that she's now out on her parole?

How about that her boyfriend/partner in crime is also out on parole but he still has jealousy/anger issues and when he doesn't take his meds is prone to intense and savage physical violence?
