Why does my computer act funny on video streaming websites?
I have a brand new dell XPS computer with all gaming specs, 16gigs of ram, solid state drive and 1.80TB hard drive. After about an hour of surfing youtube I have to exit out of the browser and open a new one for it to act normal again. This is getting frustrating.

I would need more information to give an accurate reply. First off, what is your processors clock speed? (GHz/per second) What browser are you using? Any idea what your internet speed is? What exactly is youtube doing? Is it freezing, not loading, browser crashing, etc?

My best guess would be that your internet connection may not be fast enough to stream the content. Or you may need to update flash player.

Hello,
My name is Krishna and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. The issue could be because of your browser. Try Chrome or Firefox for a while and see how it goes. Also , try the below steps and see if that helps.

1. Right-click the application image or video during playback.
2. From the context menu, select Settings.
3. Deselect "Enable Hardware Acceleration" in the Display panel. This should eliminate hardware or driver compatibility problems with Flash Player.

If that doesn't help, you may have to update the device drivers for your graphics card.

Regards,
