So there was this girl in my college class I friended on facebook and we messaged each other for a while but the conversation reached a natural conclusion. I wanted to ask for her phone number to stay in touch but I don't know how to do it now that the conversation is over. Any advice on how to ask without seeming weird?

You should be worried about hanging out with her. You could try to hook up/hang out with her, over facebook. Then if she's ses "okay" you ask for her number then.
