Best sound card for recording on macbook pro 2010?

Hello, im building a mini home studio and i heard i should get a good sound card for my computer? I'm using a Shure SM 58 mic (usb connection) casio px 130 (usb connection) and a macbook pro 2010 with garage band. What do you recommend? Money is not really an issue but I'd like to know of many options in all price ranges (or at least some good knowledge) . Thank you.
