I have a facebook virus, how do I get rid of it?

I logged onto facebook and discovered that I am sending people messages asking them to open a google images link. What to I do to stop this?

i had that on msn once its was really annoying in the end i unistalled msn and restarted my laptop and then installed it again it was fine after that. but i dont kno about facebook, cas u cant unistall that , or u cud download mozzilla firefox then unistall ure other internet, then restart ure computer/laptop and then install the internet u had and then get rid-off mozzilla firefox and then see if that worked. if u already got firefox just do the same but install internet exploxer 7 or something and carry on.
