Why do the media discriminate against men and constantly misrepresent them?

I am no feminist, but you are a mountain of ignorance, my friend.

When you can figure out a way to take control of the media and hold them to higher standards....let me know! Until that time, best just to do as I do - ignore all forms of media except for frivolous entertainment...it will leave you with less of a bad taste in your mouth and not let you down.

I don't know what media you're watching/looking at, but it seems to me that men and women get an equally raw deal when it comes to how each is portrayed in the media.

Men are portrayed as dummies, lazy, etc, and women are portrayed as soul-less sex objects with nothing to offer besides tits 'n asss.

Someone who is incapable of seeing both sides of the coin must be very biased, indeed.

And the "media is controlled by women?" Surely you guys know that the vast majority of writers, producers, directors, etc are MEN? How are women controlling the media? That sounds just like those other crazies who think it's the "Jews" who control the media.

The media is leftist and feminism is of the Left. That's why Joe Average Male gets a raw deal from them.

I say kill our televisions, refuse to subscribe to the dinosaur print media, and use the Internet to ensure a level playing field for men and their concerns.

@Gavin R: Married...with Children, to its credit, let the men fight back against the women. Al and Bud Bundy were not ones to suffer feminist fools gladly. You don't see that with "Everybody Loves Raymond".
