What are some real fun applications to make using Visual Basic 2010? (im a beginner)?

I've got a little Visual Basic knowledge but not enough to know what I CAN build with the right code.
Now im searching for ideas on funny apps to make (not like those boring collumns and stuff) and a little help with the code. Thanks in advance!
By the way im just 12 and im not planning on becoming an advanced programmer at this age, even though its my dream job for the future Right now programming is just a hobby.

you need good working knowledge of DirectX concept if you really want to write games... log in with asterisk as password (stimulated Facebook web page as asp.net)... school library system (some knowledge of MS SQL database management)... windows phone apps (angry bird kinda) you will need phone sdk (device + wpf)... pick up a VB bible and lots of programming on OOP is essential via debugging... take up short course to reinforce your understanding... distribute your program amongst your friends to develop your interest in particular field.
