Why are males oppressed?

I stress the importance of the term "males" due to the fact that gender is culturally constructed and today males are hurt by the gender role (usually by other males through hedgemony). Today western women are obsessed with this concept of marriage (of which is culturally constructed of course) despite the fact that statistics prove that 50% of such conclude in divorce. This ensnares males in this "provider-ship role" sort to speak in which they are bound to servtitude that threatens any opposing disposition with abash.


In America, all of society's cultural and legal mores(sociological term) are matriarchal. Through this it appears as though present Western civilization is composing into this perdition in which males are simply trained to kill and to be killed as they have for centuries. In part males themselves are responsible for this as over the millennia the very identity of the male sex has been fabricated with aggressiveness and hedgemony. One must be reminded however that in the old testament, Eve's actions of persuading Adam to consume the fruit corrupted the entire natural world and left man to "toil in the fields" provoking such inventions as differentiation (social hierarchy),war, and reward to begin with.

The Komen organization receives billions of dollars form numerous fortune 500 companies and mass media organizations in pursuit of such a "cure" while ironically, many perish from prostate and testicular cancer. Myself very discontent with such happenings, I often find myself in favor of Islamist "fundamentalist" revolutionaries who seek only to reclaim their land that has been ravaged by a uniform western audacity. Does anyone else feel the same?
