Would these 2 reasons be similar?
I have a topic for an argument essay: Do celebrities cause more of a negative or positive effect in society? (Im on the negative side.) What I need to know is if these 2 reasons are similar?

1st reason: Celebrities are just regular human beings, with weaknesses, flaws, and faults- but theirs are being exposed all around over the world, and some people think their examples of behavior are something to be imitated, even when those behaviors are not good for anyone.

2nd reason: •With the internet, social media, and so many sites dedicated to reporting celebrities every move, every single thing they do is out there for the world to see.
•This often includes the bad things we may not want young children to see:
–partying
–drinking
–car accidents
–drugs
–etc.

Sorry if it's worded weirdly, I copied it from my word document,

Are these 2 reasons similar? And if they are how can I combine them together?
I think I just might stick to the 2nd reason. Which one do you think is better?

Thanks Smile

They are slightly similar, but I would keep them as two seperate points if i were you. I love the wording, btw. Great argument! Smile
