When can I add advertisement to my site?

I am starting to have 100+ visitors to my site per day and over 1000 page-views as well. Should I add ads to site now or it might reduce traffic to site?

I would say your 3000 a month is just reaching the threshold where ads may pay off, keeping the ad area small or only adding affiliate links to occasional articles might be a way to test the effect. You might track bounce rates which are an indicator of the user reaction and search ranking which mat reflect the search spider reaction to the ads.

I understand Facebook went some 6 years before starting monitization.

Apparantly Adsense ads are not allowed on sites that have more ad area than useful content.
