1.Use 50% to 20% of Brightness.

2.Delete cache 3 times at least, you can use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...ter.mguard
and delete.

3.Use Auto Task Killer.

4.Follow these 7 steps: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=J8EbkfyAlVU#

I hope thats help.

I recommend that you turn off your WiFi when your not using it. As well as the data sync, Bluetooth, and the GPS location setting. It will save more battery. As well as not keeping the screen on full brightness. I have an app called Power toggles that let's me custom make a widget so mine has the toggles to let me enable and disable my data connectivity. If you do that you can still receive texts and calls as well as make them. It just won't let you use any apps that need internet access until you turn data connectivity back on.

There's no specific guideline to what app should be running and what not, but sure enough FB and mail applications do eat up a lot of battery when data is active. To save more battery, use lower display brightnesses, and uninstall any applications that you might not find useful. Also, preferably turn off data while playing games.
