If so, then what is the big deal about Twitter? Can you even message other people on it? What else can you do on your Twitter profile?

well the huge thing about it is that unlike myspace where like famouse people and all have profiles you know but they never get on and if not its someone else doing it for them and such will in twitter its not like that its nice and simple and people are just connected all around

yeah, its basically the status part of myspace, you can message other people too, i have a twitter and i'm following: my local news channel, obama, and the white house, just so i know whats goin on

Yes, you can message other people on twitter. i'm not sure what the big deal is, it's just fun i guess. I have one. I got one so i could follow Taylor Swift and Katy Perry so i could know what they're doing when they decide to update about it. Haha. You can also do twitpics, and upload a picture of what you're doing. So like, if you're on vacation in hawaii you could take a picture of the view from your hotel room or something and send it to twitter. Also, if you are looking to make yourself more known on the internet its a good way to connect to people.
