Reinstalling video drivers on laptop?
When I try to run either BF3 or MOH:W (video games by Electronic Arts) I get the error ".... has stopped working."
The EA tech support person (after 4 months of waiting) has told me to try uninstalling my video drivers and then reinstalling them. They said to go to my PC manufacturer's website and download the video drivers. I checked the Dell website and couldn't find a section for video drivers. Are they referring to the nVidia drivers, the ones I'd get them from their website?
Can anyone tell me what the support people are trying to get me to do?
I've gone to that page on the dell website. These are the only categories that come up:
Application (1)
BIOS (2)
Communications (8)
Diagnostics (1)
Input (4)
Removable Storage (4)
Serial ATA (2)
Is it under one of these categories? The number in the (#) is the number of drivers in that group.

Type in your service tag number from the back or bottom of your computer. All drivers will be there including the video driver, download and install it.

You can also get the invidia drivers from the invidia website if you so choose. auto detect:

Hello John,
My name is Krishna and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. The graphics driver will be listed under the 'Video' section. As mentioned by idiosyncratic, you can visit http://www.support.dell.com/ and input your Service Tag to get updated drivers specific to your computer.

If you are still having trouble, please e-mail me the Service Tag number of your system and I would be happy to get you the right driver. You can reach me at Krishna_KRN@Dell.com

Regards,
Dell-Kris K
