They want to give their company publicity. But I agree they have gone too far, it's annoying.

Yeah it has been crazy for a couple years now. They do not need to put on the corner of the screen whenever a wrestling topic is trending. They are way too involved with the social media and needs to cool down even a little. It is stupid that they have to have Twitter to put out stuff that are forced. I'm sure that the reason CM Punk hasn't tweeted in a week is because he was told to. I'm sure he would have like to said something about the Olympics or reply to some fans.

it's their way of trying to get more viewers and exposure. Not a bad idea. Doesn't change the fact it's annoying as hell.

Yes, WWE is really going too far with Social Media. They have became obsessed with FaceBook, Twitter, Tout, and the newest Social Network, Shazam. I understand WWE wants to spread the popularity of the Company all around the World, but seriously, Michael Cole mentioning Hashtags, FaceBook Sites, 15 Seconds long Videos on Tout that they actually broadcast on Raw is too to much. Cole even mentioned this Week on Raw that CM Punk has not Tweeted for whole week since 1000th Raw. Also, that announcement of 100,000,000th WWE Social Media Follower on 1000th Raw was idiotic and ridiculous.
