Issues with YouTube and Facebook on Google Chrome?

I have the new HP Windows 8 laptop and I installed Google Chrome on it, but I'm having issues with these two websites on it. With Facebook, the page takes longer than say Yahoo to load and I cannot see friend requests/inbox messages/notifications until the page is loaded. I also have to refresh the page until older posts load on pages. As for YouTube, I will get a blank page with sound unless I open a new tab and click back to YouTube. Anyone know how to fix these issues?

Seems like a browser problem, have you tried updating Google chrome? What version did you installed? Also try updating the flash player, this two updates are crucial updates in browsing specially with Youtube. You can download updates on their respective websites, its free.
