Dish network remote lost?

I have 2 receivers and I lost one remote. Can I program remote #2 to receiver #1?

I would be more than happy to assist you with this! It is possible to swap which remote works which TV. This can only be done if the remotes and receivers are of a similar model. To program the other remote, take it to the receiver you wish to work. Access the System Information screen. This can be done by pressing the Sys Info button on the front of the receiver, or putting the receiver into standby with the power button, then pressing the up arrow. Once you are on the System Information screen, follow the steps below!

Hold down the SAT button until all mode lights light up. Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the number pad on the remote, then press the pound (#) button. Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record. After that, test the remote and see if it works.
