can you get in trouble for exposing someone on facebook?

this girl who was supposed to be my best friend stole a lot of money from my mom and bragged about it on facebook....i commented on her status and told everyone she is very poor, got evicted from her home, and went down on a boy for money, which is true...she then deleted her status right after but i made a screen shot for evidence to show the police and now i'm thinking about exposing her to everyone on a status...can i get in serious trouble for this?

if you want to know the story...my mom left our rent money on the dresser by accident when she left for work and my supposed to be best friend who spent the weekend at our house and whom my family and i trusted went in to my moms room and stole the money.

I know it sounds so immature...but revenge is sweet.

I would leave it! You're better than that, you may think revenge is sweet but then she would want revenge, so these things never stop! Let it go and be the better person.
