Why does my ipod touch lose power so fast?
I had an ipod touch before this, sold it and got this current one. It loses power way too fast, my old one didn't do this.

1. I lowered the backlight
2. Only apps i have downloaded are facebook and an alarm, so i wouldn't think anything is draining too much background power
3.There is no music playing when not in use.

But if i leave it alone and turn it on about an hour later i'll see that the power is down below half. What's going on?

Sometimes batteries need to be broken in but you should try to get a new battery through your warranty.

Dont leave music playing, turn down brightness and turn off wifi/bluetooth when not used should help. Sounds like the battery is broken though I'd get a new one or call Apple.
