I`m single so how do I make it show on my facebook timeline?

I asked this question in the "facebook" section but no answer seemed to come up.
I recently became single, and I hid it from my timeline. The side bar that also says who you recently became friends with.
how do i make it say so and so changed her relationship status to "in a relationship to single" on the side bar again? I went to the activity log and it was on "highlighted on timeline." the other choices were hide or show on timeline. None of them seemed to work. how can i get it back and show up on the side again?

Go onto your profile. Click on the "Update info" button on the right hand side. Scroll down and click on the edit button where it says "Basic Info". Then change your relationship status to single. Hope i helped.
