Why do some girls only add military men on facebook?
I've been noticing that a lot of women that my husband doesn't know have been trying to friend him on Facebook. Looking at these girls profiles I've noticed that the only people in their friends list are military men. Could these girls be some kind of scammers? Should my husband ignore their friend request?

Maybe they have a thing for soldiers. Maybe they're horny and feel a soldier away from civilization for long periods of time will want sex real bad when they return home and try to connect with them.

May be they like soldiers. You can get a clear answer if you have a best friend (a girl) who is doing so.

They are called tag chasers. They want to have a military man so he can take care of them, but because they are military and are not around a lot they can pretty much do what they want.

I Cannot say whether they are scammers or real girls without looking at their profile . People who make all their pics and POst And Personal Info Public are usually scammers (NOT ALL OF THEM ARE SCAMMERS)
But He should definitely ignore friend requests from people that he doesn't know

Tell him not to add them -- the Taliban has been known to target soldiers through sites like Facebook in order to find their location and get them to reveal information. This has been reported on the news in Australia but for some reason the US news does not report it even though they are also targeting US and British soldiers

If your husband is in the military he should make sure his profile is set to Private so only friends are allowed to contact him or see anything posted on his wall
