apple aiport express keeps disconnecting?

I have an apple airport router that, for some reason, keeps disconnecting. but it's a strange occurence. my laptop will randomly lose connection. I'll look under the network tab and see the name of my router. then when i click it, it makes me type in the password. at that point, either the password will be considered incorrect or it says that i need to disconnect and reconnect my router. this happens on a daily basis now for no reason. and it happens with my mom's laptop too. i don't know if it's just a bad router or what but it's really frustrating having to do a reboot each day.
