Is calling better for a relationship than facebook messaging?

Me and my girlfriend of two months only are able to see each other once a week, maybe twice if we're lucky.

She has told me she doesn't like talking on the phone, and we Facebook message a lot.

I am wondering if even if she doesn't like talking on the phone, if we should start instead if messaging!

I definitely think calling is better for a relationship. I mean when you call someone you hear their voice, and it's much more personal. Through messaging things can even be interpreted wrong, because the way things are said greatly affect their meaning. After talking to my bf on the phone even if its only for 5 minutes, I feel much more closer to him (: we don't even text lol.
