DOES ONLINE ADVERTISING MARKETING WORK?
I have approached an ad agency to write 5 articles, 5 press releases, 300-500 words each, plus also create a custom 60 second advertising video for my business.

They will also submit all articles, press releases, to 100 article and 30 pr sites online, plus submit video to YOU-TUBE and Internet.

What would be a far price for this service ?

A couple hundred dollars?, you can search for advertising agency sites and review their standard package rates. They may well outsource the monotonous work.

For example the Fiverr.com budget services site's somewhat anonymous workers provide services like:

Create linkpyramid with 15 Web Properties, 200 Article Submission and 3000 Social Bookmarks for $5

I will create linkpyramid with 10 docs sharing sites, 250 Article Submission and 3000 Social Bookmarks for $5

I will do professional ★ ARTICLE Submission ★ to 9000+ Unique article submission sites, edu/gov with pr... for $5

Actually those doing it manually may be as effective:
will submit your ARTICLE to 1 Paid Pr6 and 20 Other High Pr Article Submission Websites Manually for $5

Be aware, the premium article sites won't accept an unoriginal work that can find already on other sites, the SEO effectiveness of an article goes way down when search engines see multiple copies of the identical text on the web, generally the one that find first will be called the originator and will get the brunt of the backlink power (if you are doing it for SEO) along with the automated submission software they will probably be using, some use Spinning software that rewrite a variety of versions to make them appear to search engines, the results is usually crap hard for humans to read, but difference to fool search spiders. The point being there may not be much difference between submitting an article to 10 site or 100.
Same thing for Press release sites, paying one premium site like the well known PRweb.com which starts at $89 will probably have a bigger impact than submitting to 30 free sites, which may act more like article sites in being perhaps most useful as a backlink source. Prweb improves the chances of being picked up by mainstream media or Google news.

The purpose of affiliate marketing is to use one website to drive traffic to another site. Say, for example, Joe the Blogger sets up a website about news and current events. He wants to make money from his website so he sells advertising space on his page, but no one will advertise unless people click on their ads. Since he needs a lot of content, he decides to get other people to write his content for him. But he needs to give his writers some incentive to work for him, so he sets up an affiliate marketing program.
