My friend had Facebook from Safari on the page where the apps and stuff are, but then he downloaded the Facebook app and he wants to get rid of the one from safari.

Hold your finger over the app or shortcut icon until all of them start to shake. After that there will be little X's in the corners of all apps and shortcuts. Click the X to remove and the homescreen to stop the apps from shaking.

Just press and hold on the icon you want to delete off your Ipod touch (Note that this will take it off your device but not from your Itunes library so you can always buy it back for free or install it again on your computer)and let go when it wiggles. You can drag the icon or press the X to delete. When your done press the home button. To delete on the computer in your sync tab, go to applications, and then check mark the ones you want on the Ipod touch. Last click apply. Hope this helps
