How do you think social media has impacted your generation?

Completely screwed it up i don't use any social networking sites but have seen some of my friends accounts. All everyone seems to do is boast about themselves and it is increasing the chances of people thinking social status is important when it is not at all.

Social media has definitely impacted out generation because what we see on the media is what we believe We see that (for example) iPhone 5 is the new thing on the media, they talk about how awesome that is which impacts everyone making them believe it is just that great. Social media persuades their targeted audience to believe that what they're advertising is what the audience wants. It impacts our generation because seeing it on the media (for example ) ray ban are worn by different celebrities which impacts people to buy ray ban and to think ray bans are "cool".
