They have an immediate platform to speak out.
They sucker people into thinking they care about fans, that leads people to buy or go to movies.
Celebrities make teens think they must be as pretty as them when in reality photographers fix the pictures to make celebs to be pretty.

1. They control the media with unreachable and rigid social standards, making the average person feel inadequite about themselves (ex: commercials and images of partying can make a shy person feel like an outcast in their own society)
2. They are overrated in appearance and take on more value to someone than an educated person (ex: someone would rather watch something like Honey Boo Boo than learn about politics, which can cause them to be uninformed)
3. They idolize themselves (ex: to a godly person never should an idol be worshipped (ie a fake/man made object) only the holy spirit himself. So basically this makes them a crime to highly religious people)
