Has anybody ever got a virus from utorrent or wyso?

A friend on facebook says he's downloaded tens of thousands of albums and movies and never got one. How can this be?

before you download anything you check the comments ppl do anwser if they got a virus or not and some ppl even upload it to virustotal (scanns with like 25 programs) and then you can see the result there its easy to not get virus.

Yup, I know someone got malware from using uTorrent but doesn't matter which p2p program, file sharing is risky. Maybe that guy has been lucky so far or maybe that guy already got malware which he doesn't know about but he's certainly a boastful chap with no conscience.

I've never downloaded a virus using p2p networks.  I'm careful what I download and look for obvious signs like files with obviously wrong size, or mis-spellings in the names;  and if in doubt, I search for alternatives.
