Why wont my camera's SD card reader work?
I've had my camera with the card for about a year and a half with no problem. But a few days ago i bought a new card reader and since then its being really weird. The card already had about 5 pictures on it, and then i took about 10. I had a look through them all on my camera but when I went to upload them to my computer through the reader, and all the pictures showed up except the 10 i had just taken. They just appeared as white icons in the folder. Then, without warning the folder shut down, and when re-opened the new photos were missing.
I then put the card back into my camera and the new photos were still missing. I wasn't sure if it was the reader or the card, so i took another photo and tried again to look at it though my computer and the same thing happened. I've also tried in my laptop with the same problem.
It is most likely the new card reader but I cant figure out what exactly the problem is that would make it do this other than just fail to read it in the first place.
I appreciate any help, thanks.
Oh and if you are interested in seeing some of my opther photos, i have a website here:

Jodie, it's time for a new memory card.

Format the card, in the camera. Try it again. Works correctly? Cool. Still screwed up? Do as Jim said and be sure to format the new card in the camera, regularly.
