Can your actual Facebook account become infected with a virus?

I know you can get a virus through Facebook that would infect your computer... but am wondering if your actual account can become infected? Or is that impossible? Like, you have a virus on a computer, using that computer to login into Facebook... could your 'account' become infected?

Or is that impossible?
Nothing has happened with my account. I think I got a virus from another site while I was logged into Facebook... just checking I can log into Facebook on another computer and not get that computer infected with anything.

I think it's a virus on your computer using your computer to log into facebook and send spam messages to your contacts.

Hey.

Firstly you can't get a virus from Facebook. Secondly Facebook has been updated quite recently, they did these updates for a specific reason 'To keep your account secure'. It must have been another website.
