Why do random people add you on Facebook?
Someone from my hometown added me, I accepted becuase I thought I might know them, but I don't. We have no mutural friends, we're not in the same groups on facebook...
How can people find you on facebook? I'm quite confused, would the person have to search my name to find me, becuase we have no mutural friends or anything? Ads |

You didn't hide your account probably.
Go to privacy settings, and click on "Only My Friends" or "Friends of Friends" this means that only your friends can see your facebook, or the friends of your friends instead of everyone. You won't have to worry about stalkers or random creepy people that add you that you don't know. Ads |

They Probably Typed your Name in and Found you on Facebook Or Maybe they looked at a Group they Dont Have to Be in A Group to See Who Posts and is Inside the Group if you Dont Know them and Dont Want them As a Friend than Remove them

This happens to me all the time.. People add random people just to make it look like they have a lot of friends. I usually just push the "Not now" button. It's dangerous adding people you don't truly know.
