Does that laptop even have a 1280 x 800 display option??
Is your graphics driver correctly installed and in the newest version possible? Ads |

Hi Deepan,
My name is Gautam and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. Please check if the video drivers are installed properly in the laptop as 1280 X 800 is not a correct resolution, you can check it in the device manager. Please follow the steps below 1 click on start button in windows 2 type device manager in search bar 3 open the device manager look for display adapter options click on the + sign to expand that option 4 check under display adapter if standard VGA adapter is there or any other display adaptor. 5 check if there any yellow exclamation mark on display adopter If there is a display adopter other than standard VGA with no yellow exclamation mark then video driver is installed properly. A display adapter can provide resolution up to 800 X 600, 1024 X 768, 1280 X 1024, and 1366 X 768 depending upon graphic card configuration. You can try the above screen resolution for better resolution. Please reply in case you have any further questions. Regards Gautam_H |
