How has media changed in the past 5 years?
I need to answer this question for a history assignment, but I ran out of ideas. I put down about the rise of social networking sites and how information is more instantaneous. Other than that, nothing..hahaha! Can someone help me brainstorm?

Technology has taken over parts of the media: iphones, ipads, blackberry, kindle fire, smartphones, etc. Today using an app one could read today's newspaper on a paperless tablet. In the olden days, a reporter would type up the story on a desktop computer in his/her office, now at the site of the event using technology. And the information is now more press relations generated than ever.

The change from genuine reported stories too more "Opinion" generated stories. That way you can make a thirty second minor story into an hours of absolute waffle.
