is there something called 'trans curious'?
i'm a 24 years old girl.in young age i dressed like a boy, people couldnt identify me as a girl.wanted to boys stuff.didnt like my breasts and even wanted to go toilet like boys.
but after teenage some how i had to change due to family and social reasons.now iv grown a medium length hair.wear skinny jeans and tight t shirts, blouses. But not too girlish dresses or skirts etc.now im ok with my body, hair. I like girls from the beginning still i am.havent attracted to males.so i thought im a lesbian.
But when thinking about past i might be transsexual.the traits was i had in my young age consider as a tomboy's or transsexual?or is there something called 'trans curious'? Because iv heard some trans people identify them as gay before and later realize they are transsexual and straight.
If someone explain me this im really grateful.because this bothers me a lot.thank you!

Born a transsexual myself, I was fearful of my daughter, as a teen she would wear boys basketball shorts, hoodie, no make up, boys sneakers, play basketball with the boys, act, live, breathe as a boy. I know two of her friends were lesbian and spent many of sleep overs together. Didn't need that one mapped out for me. She is happily married with a child now and put her "fad" behind her sometime in late high school. For you I would ask, forget what you did in your early teens, but how do you feel now? If you still have feeling of being a boy, I would recommend a therapist to help you sort them out. I think we all look for a place to fit in through our teens. I f you are not having those feelings now, I would worry to much about how you felt, rather how you feel now.

"Trans curious" is not a recognized term. It's more common to say they are "questioning their gender". However you say it, if you are having gender issues and want help sorting them out the normal course is to get help from a gender therapist. A list of some gender therapists can be found here:

Most people are reluctant to see a therapist, so when a person does that's a pretty good sign that the problem is a significant one. So, how are things for you at the moment?
