In my opinion it’s better to work as freelance web designer in terms of earning money and working with flexible time. Ideally, the more clients you’ll have the more you could earn. All you need to do is balance work and life in order to meet deadlines. However, working as a freelancer is not stable, where you must look for clients. Looking for clients in one area won’t give you good opportunities to get clients. You must expand your search looking on different places like online job boards (monster.com, craigslist.org, indeed.com), outsourcing sites (freelancer.com, staff.com, elance.com), social media (Twitter, LinkedIn), and etc. You could also look for forums that are related to your skills, which could also help you find clients.
